My husband and I made it to Buffalo with our two dogs and cat safely. It took us about 36 hours and we only slept for three hours. Thankfully, the pets slept almost the entire time. Now that I'm in Buffalo I have to keep reminding myself of where I actually am. Sometimes I have to remind myself that, OK it's not 100 degrees outside, there are no palm trees, and there probably won't be an hour-long thunderstorm that goes away mid-afternoon. It's a nice feeling that this is not just a visit and that I can see my family (including my adorable little niece) all the time now.
Here are a few pictures from our journey:
I'm starting my summer job as a teacher aide in an exceptional education program after next week. I'm not sp. ed. certified, so I can't work as a teacher. I'm also still looking for a job in the fall. Anyone have any connections in Buffalo? :)
I'm also still working on my 100+ follower giveaway. Perhaps that's something I'll work on while my hubby is busy watching the EURO game later. Until then, check out this great giveaway from The Tattooed Teacher!
